Thank you - Melbourne Grammar

It is no secret that Zoe loved her sport, and wouldn’t want her asthma to stop her or others from living an active lifestyle, but the reality is the risk factors increase and the seriousness of the condition need further awareness. On behalf of the Zoe Kennedy Foundation (ZKF), we wish to thank most sincerely the boarders of Melbourne Grammar School for supporting asthma education, research and intervention strategies.
In particular, Tom Marriner, Captain of Melbourne Grammar School (MGS First X1).

Melbourne Grammar School vs Wesley College 1st XI ZKF Tribute Cricket Match

  • The profile of adolescent asthma was raised amongst an adolescent population.

  • A whole school effort help raise funds at a school BBQ, and a silent Auction at the cricket raised further funds.

From all reports, the organisation of the event was very professional and well received by the school and wider community.

“Thank you also for your fundraising efforts which exceeded all expectations. We can assure you that the funds raised will help deliver significant benefit.

Please also pass on our thanks to your mate, Patrick Kennedy, who also played a significant role in the day. And well done on winning the game by 2 runs! Perhaps Zoe helped out there in getting the result for Melbourne Grammar Boarding School.” - Joe Grasso, Chairman, Zoe Kennedy Foundation
